Biba eats: Oliveto (London)

Oliveto is genuinely a delicatessen, run by Italians  The staff is very friendly and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm. The only slight drawback is that it focuses on food to go with only a few tables to sit at. But let's focus on the food there. OH MY! i don't know if it's always that good but everything was just foodgasmic ! We had for starters the tuna bresaola with fresh grilled green beans, and to my surprise it was really good and very well seasoned. We also had the mozzarella di bufala with tomatoes, onions, eggplants and pine nuts; and it was just yummy and kind of sweet. Every bite was like a party in my mouth. As for main, i had the mozzarella di bufala pizza with tomato chunks and basil, and added some mushrooms. It was simply delicious, and with every bite you can add some of their home made garlicky oil that just takes it to the next level. the price average varies between 30 and 35 pounds including a glass of wine.
