Biba eats : Auberge Bressane

L'Auberge Bressane is located  in the heart of  7th arrondissement where you can enjoy a moment of pure "French Ambiance". In this comfortable authentic auberge with its wood panelled decor, you will enjoy hearty traditional specialities from the regions of Lyon and Burgundy. There were so many good things on the menu that we decided to share 4 appetizers at first. We had the cheese souffle that was a bit blank and dull  for me but the carb souffle was really good and it had  bits and pieces of fresh crab. We also shared bouchee a la reine which was a mix of lots of meats, mushroom and a  creamy sauce inside of a vol au vent pastry shelf, it was simply foodgasmic. As for the frog legs, it was predictable but really good. I had the creamy chicken with morilles for main course and the chicken was too chewy;  i was a bit disappointed since it was  supposed to be one of their specialities.
All in all it was a good experience, the service was impeccable and the price average varies between 50 and 70 euros per person including wine.
