Biba eats : Rose Bakery

This English-themed café (located in rue des martyrs 9eme) run by a Franco-British couple stands out for the quality of its ingredients - organic or from small producers. They have a changeable menu. We had the crab scrambled eggs with crispy crumbly croutons and it was FOODGASMIC, every bite was a party in my mouth ! And the salmon scrambled eggs was also really good. It comes with a sour bread and butter that is just perfect with the eggs. They have a crispy chicken sandwich with garlicky sauce and roasted pumpkin stripes that was also good. At the end we shared a delicous piece of  carrot cake with the most delicious cream cheese icing that was not too sweet and a light fluffy pear muffin. They also serve "do your own"salad plate, crusted pizettes, daily soups and occasional risotto. The dining room is minimalist but welcoming. As for the service, unfortunately it was disastress because there was only one waitress working this day and we had to wait hours to only get the menus. I just hope that it's not like this everyday because the food is really good.
